1/2 bunch Palak

1/2 bunch Methi

1-2 Green chillies

1 tsp Red Chilli powder

1 tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Dhania Jeera powder

1 tbsp Lemon juice

1 cup atta 1 cup (wheat flour)

1/4 cup Bajra flour (optional)

1/4 cup jowari flour (optional)

1/4 cup nachni flour (optional)

1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Salt as per taste

1/2 tsp Sugar

Oil for kneading



  1. Blanch the palak and methi.
  2. Once cooked, grind it in to paste with green chillies.
  3. Now mix all the flours and masalas along with lemon juice and sesame seeds.
  4. Then add to it salt and a little bit of oil.
  5. Add the paste of palak and methi and knead it very well.
  6. Make balls with the dough and roll it out and cook on a hot tawa.
  7. Apply ghee if you like.
  8. Enjoy it with pickle or tomato sauce.
