Ingredients

  • 2 - fish fillet, red fish
  • 1/2 - Lime
  • 1/4 tsp - Lemon zest
  • Sea salt
  • 3 - fresh spring of Thyme
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped fresh dill
  • 2 Clove - Garlic grated
  • Pepper, according to your taste
  • Chilli flakes - a little
  • 2 tbsp - extra virgin Olive oil
  • 1 - large onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp - Olive oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Good pinch - Sugar
  • How to Make Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Caramelised Onions:

    1. Mix all the ingredients with fish fillet and marinate in refrigerator for about 1 to 2 hours.
    2. Pan fry them on medium heat till fish gets cooked for 3 to 4 mins and then turn the heat to high to get them roasted for about 3 to 4 mins.
    3. Caramelise onions
    4. In a wide thick bottom pan on medium heat, pour oil. When oil warms, add sliced onions, salt and fry till onions become soft and transparent.
    5. Add sugar and let them fry till they are golden brown.
    6. Serve warm fish with caramelised onions.
