  • For filling:
  • 1/2 cup - Paneer (grated)
  • 1/4 cup - Roasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp - Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Kasuri Methi leaves(crushed)
  • For Pakoras:
  • 4 - Wheat Bread slices
  • 1/2 cup - Chickpeas/Besan flour
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp - Yogurt
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp - Oil
  • How to Make Pan Fried Peanut and Paneer Bread Pakoras:

    1. Take grated paneer, coarsely ground peanuts, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and kasuri methi leaves in a bowl, mix everything well and keep aside.
    2. Take the besan flour red chilli powder, salt, yogurt in a bowl and add water gradually to form a thick paste.
    3. Cut the bread slices diagonally and spread prepared paneer-peanut filling and close it with another bread slice.
    4. Meanwhile, heat enough oil in a tawa, dip the stuffed bread slices into the prepared paste and drop gently on to the hot tawa. Fry both sides until they turn golden brown.
    5. Enjoy warm with ketchup or with the chutney of your choice.
