  • For Pancakes:
  • 50 gms - plain flour
  • 1.5 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • For Honey and Orange Sauce:
  • 150 ml - Orange juice
  • 30 ml - Honey
  • 1 tsp - corn-starch
  • 8 scoops - good quality vanilla ice-cream
  • whipped Cream to garnish
  • strawberries to garnish
  • How to Make Pancake with Ice Cream:

    1. To prepare pancakes:
    2. Using a hand mixer, combine all ingredients to make a batter.
    3. Heat a frying pan 15 cm in diameter.
    4. Heat the butter, pour a quarter of the mixture into the pan and cook on both sides.
    5. Repeat process for remaining mixture.
    6. To prepare honey and orange sauce:
    7. Pour the orange juice and honey into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
    8. Thicken sauce with corn-starch.
    9. Put 2 scoops of vanilla icecream on each pancake and roll pancakes into tube-like shapes.
    10. Cut each pancake into two and arrange on a plate.
    11. Pour the honey and orange sauce over the pancakes.
    12. Garnish with whipped cream and strawberries.
