  • 1 cup - Paneer (crumbled)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 3 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Ajwain seeds
  • a few Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1 cup - Barley flour
  • 1 cup - Yogurt
  • Salt
  • Oil for cooking
  • How to Make Paneer Barley Paratha:

    1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil, fry the ajwain seeds and curry leaves.
    2. Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies and saute until they turn brown.
    3. Then add the scrambled paneer, garam masala powder and salt. Cook on simmer till the paneer gets well coated with spices. Keep aside and cool.
    4. Take the wheat flour, barley flour, prepared paneer bhurji in a bowl, salt and gradually add the yogurt and knead into a smooth dough. Keep aside for 30 mins.
    5. Shape dough into 10-12medium sized balls, dust with flour and roll as circles.
    6. Heat a tawa, drop the rolled parathas, drizzle oil and cook both sides till done.
    7. Serve hot.
