Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Paneer (crumbled)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 3 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Ajwain seeds
  • a few curry leaves
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1 cup - Barley flour
  • 1 cup - Yogurt
  • Salt
  • Oil for cooking

How to Make Paneer Barley Paratha

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil, fry the ajwain seeds and curry leaves.
  • Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies and saute until they turn brown.
  • Then add the scrambled paneer, garam masala powder and salt. Cook on simmer till the paneer gets well coated with spices. Keep aside and cool.
  • Take the wheat flour, barley flour, prepared paneer bhurji in a bowl, salt and gradually add the yogurt and knead into a smooth dough. Keep aside for 30 mins.
  • Shape dough into 10-12medium sized balls, dust with flour and roll as circles.
  • Heat a tawa, drop the rolled parathas, drizzle oil and cook both sides till done.
  • Serve hot.
