Ingredients

  • 200 g - paneer cubes
  • 2 - onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - white khuskhus/poppy seeds
  • 2 - cardamom/elaichi
  • 1 tbsp - ginger (chopped)
  • 3 - green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1and1/2 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup - green peas (cooked)
  • 3/4 cup - thick coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup - coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Water

How to Make Paneer green peas kurma

  • Heat oil in a wok and add cardamom seeds and poppy seeds.
  • Add ginger and then onion. Saute until the onion slices turn transparent.
  • Add green chillies, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and 2 cups of water.
  • Allow to cool and grind this mixture to a fine paste.
  • Put the mixture back to the wok and heat it along with coconut milk, cooked green peas, paneer cubes and salt on a low flame for about 10 mins.
  • Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from fire.
  • If you want the dish to be more spicy, add some pepper.
