Ingredients

  • Paneer - 100 g
  • Onion - 100 g
  • Tomato - 100 g
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Cashew paste - 80 g
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
  • Pudina - 1 tsp
  • Coriander chopped - 1tbsp.

How to Make Paneer Makhan Wala

  • Chop onions and tomatoes finely.
  • Fry paneer and keep aside.
  • Pour oil in a kadai, season jeera, kasuri methi, chopped pudina, chopped onion, salt and fry till golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till it becomes pulpy.
  • Then add ginger, garlic paste and stir for few secs.
  • Then add all powders and when oil separates, add milk and tomato sauce. When the gravy thickens, add paneer.
  • Allow it to boil for few seconds.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
