Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati Rice
  • 1 - onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp - ginger, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Green chilli paste
  • 3 tbsp - Tomato puree
  • 1 cup - Paneer cubes
  • 3 tbsp - curds
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander
  • a pinch - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Butter
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Paneer Pulao:

    1. Wash the rice and keep aside.
    2. Pour 2 cups of water and boil it.
    3. Heat the butter and oil in a pressure cooker, add the onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and stir for a few seconds.
    4. Then add the tomato puree and paneer cubes and cook for some time.
    5. Finally, add the rice, curd, garam masala, coriander, sugar, 2 cups of hot water and salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
    6. Allow the steam to escape before opening.
    7. Serve hot.
