Ingredients

  • Boneless mutton - 500 g.
  • 3/4 cup - beaten curd.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp.
  • Khus khus - 2 tbsp.
  • Badam (almond) - 10.
  • Garam masala - 2 tbsp.
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsps.
  • Onions - 2 (fried).
  • Dhania powder - 2 tbsp.
  • oil or ghee - 4 tbsp.
  • Coriander and mint leaves - a little.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Pasinde

  • To mutton, apply ginger-garlic paste, curd, salt and keep aside.
  • Lightly roast and powder the khus khus and badam.
  • Heat ghee, fry onions, then remove half of it and keep aside for garnishing.
  • To the remaining half of the fried onions, add the mixed mutton, chilli, turmeric and fry till dry.
  • Add the powdered masala and garam masala and fry for a bit.
  • Then add 2 cups of water and cook till the mutton is tender.
  • Finally, sprinkle the remaining fried onions and chopped coriander and mint.
  • Serve hot with rice and dal.
