Ingredients

  • 1 lb - Pasta (any kind)
  • 2 - medium Plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 Clove - garlic, minced
  • 1 - ginger, minced
  • 1 - Onion, large, minced
  • 1/4 cup - Green peas
  • 1 - medium Carrot (cut in 1 inch long thin strips)
  • 1 cup - cooked chick peas
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon

How to Make Pasta Meal

  • Cook pasta as per box directions.
  • In the meantime, heat oil, add cumin and mustard seeds.
  • Add the onion, garlic, ginger and saute till onion is cooked.
  • Add the other vegetables, except tomatoes.
  • Stir till they are cooked.
  • Add the tomatoes and all the spices and mix well.
  • Add pasta, chick peas and salt, and mix well.
  • Add lemon juice after removing pan from the fire.
  • Serve hot sprinkled with the coriander leaves.
