Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 - medium sized peaches.
  • 1/2 tsp - rasam powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - brown sugar.
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • 1 tbsp - oil.
  • 1 cup - water.
  • 15 tsp - salt.
  • How to Make Peach Gojju:

    1. Wash, peel and cut the peaches into cubes.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. After mustard seeds start to splutter, add peach pieces.
    3. After 2 minutes, add 1 cup of water.
    4. After boiling for 5 minutes, add salt, rasam powder, and brown sugar.
    5. Let boil for another 10 minutes.
    6. This recipe could be used as a nice side dish, complimenting chappati, poori or any kind of roti.
