Ingredients

  • For the savoury bites:
  • 150g - plain flour
  • 30g - rolled oats
  • 60g - peanut butter
  • 1 -egg yolk
  • 50g grated - zucchini
  • 1 to 2 tbsp - olive oil
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • For the topping:
  • 1 tsp - cumin seed
  • 1 - egg white, beaten lightly
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 - tomato, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 - onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 - dried red chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 cloves - garlic
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp - oil

How to Make Peanut Butter Savoury Bites

  • Sift the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder to it. Mix well.
  • Now add peanut butter, oats and mix well. The mixture should look crumbly.
  • Then add the grated zucchini and olive oil. The dough should come together like a sticky dough. If not, add some water.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Roll out the dough between two sheets of baking paper and cut them into diamond shapes. Brush the egg white on top, sprinkle cumin seeds on top. Cook in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Take it out from the oven and separate them into individual pieces.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 200 degree Celsius and place it in the oven for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm with tomato chutney.
