Ingredients

  • 85 g - Sugar.
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla essence.
  • 85 g - Peanuts.
  • 2 - Egg whites.
  • A pinch - Salt.

How to Make Peanut Macaroons

  • Toast peanuts in oven for a few minutes.
  • Skin, chop and sprinkle with salt.
  • Beat eggs to a stiff froth, add essence and sugar gradually and continue beating.
  • Fold in the nuts.
  • Arrange tspfuls of the mixture apart on a greased and floured tray.
  • Bake in a slow oven at 150 degrees C (about 300 degrees F) till firm and light brown in colour.
