  • 125g - plain flour
  • 300 ml - Milk
  • 1 - Egg
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 - pear; peeled, cored and grated
  • 15g - melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp - chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Crushed nuts to sprinkle on top

How to Make Pear and Chocolate Pancake

  • Beat together the egg and milk.
  • Sift flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda in a separate bowl. Add the egg and milk mixture to the flour and make it into a smooth batter. Add the grated pears and finally add the melted butter and mix well.
  • Heat a non-stick pan, pour round tablespoon full of batter in the pan. Cook at medium heat on both sides for about 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • To Serve:
  • Arrange one layer of pancake, spread a thin layer of hazelnut spread, then arrange another layer of pancake and repeat. On top of the final layer of pancake, spread a thin layer of spread again and sprinkle with nuts.
