Ingredients

  • 1 large tin Pears
  • For the Melba Sauce:
  • 1/2 tin - Raspberry jam
  • 1 cup - Hot water
  • 1 tbsp - Cornflour

How to Make Pears in Melba Sauce

  • Mix jam with hot water and let it melt over low heat.
  • Strain through a fine sieve. 
  • Mix cornflour in a little cold water, add to the sauce.
  • Cook over low heat until thick, cool, add brandy or rum.
  • Serve with the pears.
