  • 2 cups - cooked Rice
  • 1 cup - frozen Green peas
  • 1- green bell pepper (cubed)
  • 1- Onion (chopped)
  • Few Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - pav bhaji powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • How to Make Peas and Bell pepper rice:

    1. Heat enough oil, pop the cumin seeds.
    2. Add the chopped onions, curry leaves, saute for a few minutes until they turns translucent.
    3. Now add the frozen green peas, cook until they get partially cooked.
    4. Add the cubed bell pepper, pav bhaji powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt.
    5. Cook everything on medium flame until the vegetables gets coated well with the spice powder.
    6. Finally add the cooked rice, toss everything gently for a few minutes and serve immediately with any side dish.
