How to Make Peas and Potato in Coconut Milk Gravy

  • Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan, add bay leaf, saunf, cardamom, and cinnamon sticks. Fry for a minute.
  • Now, add onion and garlic. Fry well till both turns golden brown.
  • Add tomato and fry for a minute.
  • Add peas, 1 cup water and salt.
  • Let it boil till the peas are cooked.
  • Now, add cooked potatoes and mix well.
  • Grind 1/4 cup coconut with green chillies and add it to the contents in the pan.
  • Mix well and cook on medium heat for another 10 minutes.
  • Switch off the stove, wait for few minutes and then add the coconut milk.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Garnish with coriander.
  • Serve hot with paratha or rice.
