Ingredients

  • 2 cups - green peas.
  • 3 to 4 - medium onions, finely chopped.
  • 2 tsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder.
  • A pinch - Turmeric powder.
  • salt to taste.
  • half a bunch - pudina or Mint leaves, finely chopped.

How to Make Peas Curry with a Twist

  • Boil peas in a pressure cooker till it is cooked.
  • Heat oil and add the peas. Fry the peas for a minute.
  • Then add the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Take it out of the pan.
  • To serve: on a chapatti, spread a layer peas masala.
  • Then add the finely chopped onions and mint leaves on top of that.
  • Roll it up in the chapatti and enjoy.
  • The onions and pudina combination is what gives it an unique and delicious taste.
  • You may even add chopped tomatoes or a pinch of chaat masala to it.
