Ingredients

  • For masala: 1/2 cup- grated coconut
  • 15 - pepper corns
  • 2 tbsp - fennel (sombu )
  • 4 - medium peerkangai
  • 1 -onion
  • 1 -tomato
  • 1 -green chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp- oil
  • 1/2 tbsp- turmeric
  • Salt

How to Make Peerkangai Chops

  • Pour oil in a pan, heat it and add onion, curry leaves and green chilli.
  • Add tomato and turmeric.
  • Add peerkangai and cook till it becomes tender.
  • Add a little amount of water, salt and cook with lid on.
  • Make sure that vegetable is cooked .
  • Now add the masala to it. Mix and cook for 5 mins.
  • Serve hot.
