Ingredients

  • For masala: 1/2 cup- grated Coconut
  • 15 - pepper Corns
  • 2 tbsp - fennel (sombu )
  • 4 - medium peerkangai
  • 1 -onion
  • 1 -tomato
  • 1 -green chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp- oil
  • 1/2 tbsp- Turmeric
  • Salt
  • How to Make Peerkangai Chops:

    1. Pour oil in a pan, heat it and add onion, curry leaves and green chilli.
    2. Add tomato and turmeric.
    3. Add peerkangai and cook till it becomes tender.
    4. Add a little amount of water, salt and cook with lid on.
    5. Make sure that vegetable is cooked .
    6. Now add the masala to it. Mix and cook for 5 mins.
    7. Serve hot.
