Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken cut into medium pieces
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 3 tbsp - ginger-garlic-chilli paste
  • 4 tbsp - Pepper
  • 4 - large Onions
  • 1/2 cup - Coriander leaves
  • Salt and Lemon
  • How to Make Pepper Chicken:

    1. Marinate chicken in curd, salt and ginger-garlic-chilli paste for 1 hour.
    2. Fry onions in a pan till golden brown.
    3. Add the chicken pieces along with the marinade, stir till well coated with the onions and roast for about 5 minutes.
    4. Sprinkle salt and pepper, fry for a minute, add very little water, keep covered and cook till chicken is tender.
    5. When done, add juice of 1 lemon, sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot with parathas.
