Ingredients

  • fish fillets - 350 gm.
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • Garlic - 2 tsp, finely chopped.
  • Onion - 1 cup, finely chopped.
  • chilli powder - ½ tsp.
  • cumin powder - ½ tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp.
  • freshly ground black pepper powder - ¾ tsp.
  • ready to use Tamarind pulp - 1 tsp.

How to Make

  • Chop the fish into tiny pieces.
  • Heat oil, fry garlic till brown.
  • Add onion, fry till light brown.
  • Add all the powders.
  • Add fish, salt and tamarind.
  • Add ¼ cup of water and simmer till the fish is cooked and the mixture thick.
  • Place some filling on chapatti or paratha.
  • Sprinkle with some finely chopped fried curry leaves.
  • Roll up and serve.
