Pepper Sauce is a rich and creamy sauce prepared with de-seeded, tangy green peppers. However, there are many variations of pepper sauce which is made with black and pink peppers. This sauce goes very well with steaks, lamb, chicken and fish. 

Pepper sauce can also be added while cooking several non-veg dishes. The savoury ingredients - pepper, onion and tabasco sauce gives the required hot, spicy taste.

Ingredients

  • 25 gms. Butter
  • 2 green peppers, deseeded and chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp. water
  • 4 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
  • 10 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • How to Make Pepper Sauce:

    1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the pepper and onions until golden brown.
    2. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil.
    3. Stirring continuously, simmer for 10-15 mins. Serve hot.
