Ingredients

  • 1 - large Cucumber
  • 1 container - plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp - black pepper, powdered
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • To taste - salt

How to Make Peppered Cucumber Raita

  • Crush mustard seeds coarsely.
  • Peel and shred the cucumber.
  • Once the cucumber is shredded, take out the extra water.
  • Beat the yogurt in a medium-sized cooking pot.
  • Add the cucumber to the yogurt.
  • Add crushed mustard seeds, black pepper powder, and salt.
  • Mix well and chill for 1 hour before serving.
