How to Make Perky Tomato Chutney

  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Fry the onions and slit green chillies.
  • When onions are golden brown, remove from wok and set aside.
  • Add tomatoes and ginger to the wok. Fry till they soften.
  • Add coriander. Saute.
  • Cool and grind the onions and chillies first, followed by the tomatoes, ginger and coriander leaves.
  • Season with mustard and urad dal.
  • Add salt and sugar to taste.
