Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Water - required quantity
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter - 1/2 tsp
  • For the Stuffing:
  • 1 - Potato, chopped
  • 1 - Carrot, chopped
  • 1/2 - Bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 - Medium sized onion, chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

How to Make Perky Vegetable Rolls

  • Make the dough by mixing the maida, wheat flour, salt, butter and water.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and saute the ginger-garlic paste for 1 minute.
  • Then add the onions and saute until pink.
  • Add the chopped potatoes, carrots and the bell peppers to it.
  • Add the salt and chilli powder to it.
  • After the vegetables are cooked, add the garam masala and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Let it cool.
  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into round thin layers.
  • In each layer, place a little curry in it.
  • Fold and seal the edges with a little water.
  • Heat oil in a tawa and place 2 rolls at a time in it and fry until a golden brown.
  • Serve the rolls with chutney or tomato sauce.
