Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 500 g.
  • Baby potatoes - 250 g.
  • green peas - 1/2 cup, par boiled.
  • oil.
  • Bay leaves - 2.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
  • green chillies - 3, slit.
  • Curd - 1/2 cup.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp.
  • ghee - 2 tsp, optional.

How to Make Phulkapir Dalna (Cauliflower Dalna)

  • Cut cauliflower into flowerets.
  • Deep fry in oil till golden. Drain and keep aside.
  • Peel baby potatoes. Deep fry till golden. Drain and reserve.
  • Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Add bay leaves, green chillies and all the spices except garam masala. Sautee for few seconds.
  • Add green peas, cauliflower and potatoes.
  • Mix curd with 1 cup of water and add.
  • Add salt and sugar.
  • Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add garam masala and ghee.
  • Serve hot with rice.
