Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 500 g.
  • Baby Potatoes - 250 g.
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup, par boiled.
  • oil.
  • Bay Leaves - 2.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
  • Green chillies - 3, slit.
  • Curd - 1/2 cup.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp.
  • Ghee - 2 tsp, optional.
  • How to Make Phulkapir Dalna (Cauliflower Dalna):

    1. Cut cauliflower into flowerets.
    2. Deep fry in oil till golden. Drain and keep aside.
    3. Peel baby potatoes. Deep fry till golden. Drain and reserve.
    4. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
    5. Add bay leaves, green chillies and all the spices except garam masala. Sautee for few seconds.
    6. Add green peas, cauliflower and potatoes.
    7. Mix curd with 1 cup of water and add.
    8. Add salt and sugar.
    9. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    10. Add garam masala and ghee.
    11. Serve hot with rice.
