Ingredients

  • 1/4 of a medium size - pineapple, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 50 ml - water
  • 1 - medium size - ripe banana, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 50 ml - water
  • 4 tbsp - thick curd
  • 2 tsp - sugar
  • For coconut paste:
  • 50 g - grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp - water
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 - dried red chillies
  • 4 strands - curry leaves

How to Make Pineapple Madhura Pachadi

  • Separately boil pineapple and banana cubes in 1/4 cup water on a low heat until tender.
  • In a bowl, mash the boiled ripe bananas and pineapple separately, and then add them together.
  • Add 4 tbsps thick curd and stir continuously for 2 minutes until well blended.
  • Add coconut paste and sugar and mix gently.
  • For seasoning:
  • Heat oil and splutter add mustard seeds, then add cumin seeds, broken dried red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Stir well on a low heat for 2 - 3 minutes and pour the seasoning over pineapple-banana coconut mix.
