Ingredients

  • Pineapple - 1, medium size, not fully ripe.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Ginger - 1 tsp, chopped.
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
  • Cinnamon - 2" piece.
  • Cardamom - 2 pieces.
  • Ghee or oil - 2 tbsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Pineapple Sabzi:

    1. Peel the pineapple and cut into small pieces.
    2. Grind the coconut and the spices into to a fine paste.
    3. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and saute the ground paste till fragrant.
    4. Add pineapple pieces and salt.
    5. Add a cup of water.
    6. Cover the pan and simmer till the pineapple is soft and the gravy is creamy.
    7. Serve hot with chapattis.
