Ingredients

  • 1 cup-rava or semolina.
  • 1/2 cup-sugar.
  • 2 cups-water.
  • 1 cup-pineapple, cut into small pieces.
  • 1 tsp- Pineapple essence.
  • 5 tsp-ghee.
  • 1 tsp-cashew nuts, powdered.
  • 1 tsp-raisins.
  • 1 small pinch-orange or yellow colour powder.
  • How to Make Pineapple Sheera:

    1. Boil the pineapples till it becomes soft and keep it aside.
    2. Heat the pan in low flame and add ghee to it.
    3. When it becomes slightly hot, add cashew nuts and rava. Fry till rava starts becoming brown.
    4. Moment it starts turning brown, add water, sugar, pineapple essence and colour powder. Stir till it thickens a bit.
    5. Add pineapple, cardamom powder and raisins.
    6. Serve it hot.
