Ingredients

  • Pineapple - 1.
  • oil - 3 tbsps.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1tsp| To grind:
  • Coriander seeds - 1tbsp.
  • pepper Corns - 7.
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp.
  • Red Chillies - 5.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp.
  • Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp|
  • How to Make Pineapple Subji:

    1. Fry all the above (to grind) items in little oil till golden brown.
    2. Add 1/2 cup grated coconut and fry for 1 minute.
    3. Grind together with 1 tbsp roasted gram.
    4. Peel and core pineapple and slice into small pieces.
    5. Add 1 cup water and pressure cook till cooked.
    6. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, when it splutters add pineapple and ground mixture with salt.
    7. Heat on a low flame for 3 mins.
    8. Serve hot with parathas.
