Ingredients

  • 3 - Pineapple slices, canned or fresh (sweetened)
  • 1 litre - fresh curd, hung for 30 minutes
  • 2 tbsp - fresh cream, well beaten (optional)
  • 1 sprig - Mint leaves, cleaned, finely chopped
  • 1 small - Green chilli very finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 sprigs - coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 10 to 15 - Basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - chaat masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - black salt
  • 1 tsp - Sugar (or as required)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Pineapple Yoghurt Delight

  • Beat curd with cream till smooth.
  • Add all other ingredients, except pineapple.
  • Mix well, taste, and adjust as required.
  • If using canned pineapple, squeeze out excess liquid.
  • If using sweetened fresh pineapple, press out excess liquid, save.
  • Chop roughly to small pieces.
  • Add to curd, fold in gently.
  • If required, add some saved sugar syrup.
  • Chill well for 2 hours before serving.
