Ingredients

  • 1.5 tin condensed milk.
  • 400 gms - whole Wheat flour.
  • 100 gms - powdered sugar.
  • 150 gms - ghee.
  • 50 gms - almonds, coarsely ground.
  • For Decorating:
  • a few blanched almonds.
  • How to Make Pinnies:

    1. Rub ghee into the flour to get breadcrumb consistency.
    2. Fry on medium fire till it turns medium brown.
    3. Remove from fire and cool for 5 mins.
    4. Add powdered sugar, almonds and mix thoroughly.
    5. Add condensed milk in small quantities to get a mixture which is neither too dry not too wet.
    6. Form into oval pinnies and leave to cool.
    7. Serve decorated with blanched almonds.
