  • For chocolate cookies.
  • 1.25 cups - self-raising flour.
  • 1/3 cup - Milk powder.
  • 2 tbsps - castor sugar.
  • 3/4 cup - Butter softened.
  • 1/4 cup - sweetened condensed milk.
  • 125 g - dark chocolate melted| For topping:
  • 125 g - dark chocolate melted.
  • 30 g - Butter melted.
  • 1/2 cup - Pistachio nuts chopped.
  • How to Make Pistachio Chocolate Cookies:

    1. Sift the flour and set aside.
    2. Combine the butter and sugar in a small bowl and beat the mixture till fluffy and light.
    3. Stir in the sifted flour, milk powder, condensed milk and cooled chocolate.
    4. Mix to form a soft dough.
    5. Roll rounded tsps of mixture into balls.
    6. Place cookies on a greased baking tray about 5cm apart.
    7. Bake in a moderate oven (preheated) at 160 degrees C for about 12-15 mins until just firm.
    8. Cool on wire rack.
    9. For topping, combine the melted chocolate and melted buttering a bowl.
    10. Spread the tops of the cookies with chocolate mixture and sprinkle with pistachio nuts.
    11. Store in an airtight container.
