Ingredients

  • 4 - Pizza Base.
  • 2 - Onions, finely chopped.
  • 10-12 flakes - fresh garlic, chopped.
  • 3 tbsp - Refined oil.
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped.
  • 4 - Bell peppers, chopped.
  • 1 - Carrot, chopped.
  • 1/2 cup - Shelled, boiled green peas.
  • 2 tbsp - Chopped fresh Basil.
  • 2 tbsp - Chilli Powder.
  • 3 tbsp - tomato sauce.
  • Salt, Sugar to taste.
  • A little salted butter for shallow frying.

How to Make Pizza Pies

  • Heat oil in a kadai and fry the chopped onions.
  • Add the garlic and chopped tomatoes.
  • Add the chilli powder, salt, sugar, tomato sauce and the basil.
  • Fry for 5 mins.
  • Add the peppers, peas, carrots and fry for another few minutes till the vegetables are done.
  • Cut the pizza base in to 4 triangles.
  • Then slice them horizontally so that each triangle opens up.
  • Fill in some of the prepared stuffing.
  • Shallow fry them on a non-stick pan by applying some salted butter on both the sides. Serve hot.
