How to Make Plain Appam

  • Mix both flours well. Grind jaggery, coconut and cardamom well.
  • Take the grinded mixture and mix with the flours, which was already mixed in the first step.
  • The dough should not be liquid or thick.
  • The mixed items should be poured on a tava similar to dosa and shallow fried with oil till both sides are done.
