Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - besan
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 2 pinches of asafoetida (hing)
  • chopped coriander
  • Mustard for seasoning
  • salt to taste

How to Make Plain Besan chutney

  • Mix besan, salt and asafoetida in a bowl. Add 1.5 cups of water, mix well and set aside.
  • Take a pan and put 2 tps of oil.
  • Saute mustard and chillies in oil.
  • Add the contents of the bowl into the pan and stir for 4 to 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Add coriander and serve with puri, chapatti, dosa etc.
