How to Make Plain Bharwa Bhindi

  • Wash bhindis and dry.
  • Remove the caps and slit lengthwise from top to bottom. Don't slice through.
  • Mix all the ingredients for the filling into a tight mixture using some oil.
  • Fill into the slits in the bhindis.
  • Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add jeera and when it splits, add any extra masala.
  • Add stuffed bhindis and cover the pan.
  • Once the bhindi is cooked sprinkle garam masala on top.
  • Serve hot with chapattis.
