  • 1/2 kg - chicken
  • 15 - red long chillies
  • 15 - pepper corns
  • 3 inch piece - ginger
  • 1 big pod - garlic

How to Make Plain Chicken Fry

  • Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste.
  • Marinate chicken in this masala for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Steam chicken for 15 mins in a pressure pan (without weight).
  • Take a frying pan, add 2 tbsps of oil, 5 to 8 green chillies according to your taste.
  • Add curry leaves, steamed chicken along with the masala.
  • Fry well till it is dry.
  • Finally add lime juice (1/2 lime).
  • Serve as a side dish with rice and rasam.
