Ingredients

  • 1 loaf - French bread
  • 75 g - butter
  • 1/2 tsp - garlic paste

How to Make Plain Garlic Bread

  • Cut the French bread into 12 slices, taking care not to slice right through to the bottom of the loaf.
  • Mix the garlic and butter together.
  • Spread this mixture between the slices. Spread any leftover of the mixture on top of the loaf.
  • Wrap the loaf in a piece of aluminium foil, covering it completely.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes until the bread is crisp.
