Ingredients

  • Dried red chillies - 20
  • corriander seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Chana dal (bengal gram dal) - ¼ cup
  • black pepper Corns - 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric root 1 piece
  • How to Make Plain Madras Curry Powder:

    1. Roast all the ingredients (without oil).
    2. Cool and powder with a few dried curry leaves.
