Ingredients

  • 2 - big tomatoes
  • 5-6 - chopped green chillies
  • 50 g - ginger
  • 50 g - garlic
  • 1 tbsp - thymol seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 cup - chopped mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup - spinach
  • 2 cups - flour
  • 1/2 cup - gram flour
  • 1/2 cup - wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - semolina (sooji)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Plain Masala Puri

  • Mix wheat flour, gram flour, semolina, flour and oil.
  • Peel the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients and blend it in a mixer by adding a little water.
  • Add this mixture with the flour mixture and knead it into a dough.
  • Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes.
  • Make small balls and roll it into a circle. Pierce this puri with a fork.
  • You can bake it in a baking tray for 5 minutes or deep fry in oil or prepare it like paratha.
