Ingredients

  • 2 - big Tomatoes
  • 5-6 - chopped Green chillies
  • 50 g - Ginger
  • 50 g - Garlic
  • 1 tbsp - thymol seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup - Spinach
  • 2 cups - flour
  • 1/2 cup - gram flour
  • 1/2 cup - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - semolina (sooji)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Plain Masala Puri:

    1. Mix wheat flour, gram flour, semolina, flour and oil.
    2. Peel the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
    3. Mix the rest of the ingredients and blend it in a mixer by adding a little water.
    4. Add this mixture with the flour mixture and knead it into a dough.
    5. Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes.
    6. Make small balls and roll it into a circle. Pierce this puri with a fork.
    7. You can bake it in a baking tray for 5 minutes or deep fry in oil or prepare it like paratha.
