  • 1/2 cup - black pepper
  • 1/2 cup - cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - Bengal gram dal
  • 6 - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • Salt - to taste

  • Saute all the ingredients and grind them coarsely in a mixer.
  • Add required water and salt and allow to boil.
