Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 6
  • Carrot - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Garlic - 6 flakes
  • Soyabeans or Ralmah - 2 tsp
  • Cooked noodles - 2 tsp
  • Grated Cheese - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Cream - 2 tsp
  • Flour - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Pepper powder - to taste
  • Milk - 1 cup

How to Make Plain Minestrone Soup

  • Soak beans overnight.
  • Wash and cook till tender.
  • Chop all the vegetables.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add onion and garlic and fry till raw smell disappears.
  • Add tomatoes and carrot.
  • Fry till tomatoes becomes soft and mushy.
  • Add flour and fry till raw smell disappears.
  • Pour four cups of water.
  • Add salt, sugar, pepper powder and pressure cook for 10 mins.
  • Let the mixture cool and then blend it to a liquid consistency. Strain and keep aside.
  • Mix in milk, the cooked beans and noodles.
  • Serve hot, garnished with cheese and cream.
