How to Make Plain Mirchi Vada

  • For the filling:
  • Boil the potatoes with salt. Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder and mix well.
  • For the batter:
  • Mix all the ingredients with water and prepare a thick batter.
  • Slit the green peppers, remove the seeds, and fill them with the potato filling.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Dip the peppers nicely in the batter and fry them golden brown.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
