Ingredients

  • 85 g-sugar.
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence.
  • 85 g- Peanuts.
  • 2- Egg whites.
  • 1 pinch -salt.

How to Make Plain Peanut Macaroons

  • Toast peanuts in oven for a few minutes.
  • Peel the skin, chop and sprinkle with salt.
  • Beat eggs to a stiff froth, add essence and sugar gradually, and continue beating.
  • Fold in the nuts.
  • Arrange a tspful of mixture apart on a greased and floured tray and bake in a slow oven 150 degree C (about 300 degree F) till firm and light brown in colour.
