Ingredients

  • For salad:
  • 2 tbsps - finely chopped cucumber.
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 green chilli, finely chopped.
  • 1 tbsp - finely chopped onion.
  • Coriander leaves, chopped.
  • 3 tbsp - peanuts, broken.
  • 1 tsp - desiccated coconut.
  • 1/2 tsp - grated ginger.
  • Salt to taste.

  • For seasoning: 1/2 tsp - oil.
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • Curry leaves.
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice.

How to Make

  • For salad:
  • Mix all the salad ingredients in a bowl.
  • For seasoning:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds.
  • Once they splutter, add curry leaves and remove from the heat.
  • Add the lemon juice and stir.
  • To serve, pour the spice mixture over the salad and mix till it is well-coated.
  • Serve fresh.
