Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rice, soaked.
  • 2 cups - water.
  • 1 tbsp - oil.
  • 4 - cloves.
  • 1 - cardamom.
  • 2 - onions, chopped.
  • 250 g - prawns, medium sized.
  • 1.5 tsp - ginger-garlic paste.
  • 2 - tomatoes.
  • 1.5 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 1.5 tsp - coriander powder.
  • 1.5 tsp - cumin powder.
  • 1.5 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1.5 tsp - garam masala.
  • 1 tsp - coriander leaves, chopped.
  • salt to taste.
  • How to Make Plain Prawn Pulao:

    1. Take oil, cloves, cardamom and onions and cook on high for 4 mins.
    2. Then add the prawns, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste and the rest of the ingredients except the rice. Cook for 5 mins at high mode.
    3. Then add the rice to the mixture and cook on high for 16 mins more.
    4. Serve while hot.
