How to Make Plain Punjabi Channa

  • In a vessel, add oil and put 1 tsp of jeera and tez patta.
  • Then add half the onion. Heat till onion becomes transparent. Now add channa.
  • Heat jeera and anar dana (separately) till brown. Now crush them and put it on channa along with salt, mirchi powder, garam masala and green mirch.
  • Now add the tomato and the leftover onion.
  • Saute till the colour turns dark.
