  • 1 cup - rava
  • 1 cup - ragi flour
  • 5 cups - water

How to Make Plain Ragi Mudde

  • Heat 3 cups of water. Pour the rava into it.
  • Stir well so that there are no lumps.
  • Boil the rava till it is soft for about 4-5 mins.
  • In a bowl, mix ragi flour with the rest of the water.
  • Ensure that there are no lumps and gently pour this mixture into Boiled rava and water.
  • Keep stirring till the consistency of a thick paste is reached.
  • Keep the consistency a little bit more watery than traditional mudde.
  • Serve it hot with ghee and sambar.
