  • Rava (sooji) - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • A pinch of Saffron
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Mixed dry fruits - 2 tbsp

How to Make

  • Pour 1/2 tsp of ghee in a pan.
  • Fry the dry fruits in it and keep aside.
  • Pour 1.5 tbsp of ghee in the pan and fry the rava until it turns golden.
  • In the meantime, pour the milk, water and sugar in another pan and boil.
  • Add the boiling mixture to the fried rava.
  • Mix well so that no lumps are formed.
  • Dissolve the saffron in a little milk separately.
  • Add the fried dry fruits, cardamom powder and saffron to the rava mixture.
  • Remove the pan from the flame and pour the rava mixture into a bowl.
  • Add 1 tbsp of ghee to the bowl and mix well.
  • Serve hot.
